Tempering your ice is key—let it sit in the glass for 3 minutes before pouring to avoid shocking and cracking the ice (though cracks can add unique beauty). How is Craft Ice Made?
IceMeNice’s clear ice is artisanally crafted to ensure unmatched quality and elegance. We begin with water purified through a six-stage reverse osmosis filtration system to eliminate all impurities. The water is then frozen in a specialized freezer for over 36 hours, forming a pristine, crystal-clear block. Each cube is meticulously hand-carved to create the ideal shape for your favorite cocktail.
How Long Will Craft Ice Last?
When stored correctly, IceMeNice’s ice remains pristine in your freezer for months, though you’ll likely be excited to use it much sooner! Once tempered, our clear craft ice keeps your drink chilled 2-3 times longer than standard cubes.
How Do I Separate Ice That Is Stuck Together?
If your IceMeNice cubes stick together, avoid striking them or using hot water, as this may cause cracking. Instead, carefully use an ice pick or knife to gently separate the seams. The contact with metal will allow the ice to split naturally.
What Do I Do if My Ice is Cloudy?
If your IceMeNice craft ice appears frosty or cloudy in the freezer, it may have freezer burn. Tempering the ice by allowing it to gradually reach room temperature can help restore its clarity. Avoid running it under hot water, as this could cause cracking.
